Profile of Dr.S.Thenmozhi
Dr.S.Thenmozhi earned her Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from the University of Madras and is a Washington State Certified and Registered Clinical Supervisor in Counselling and Psychotherapy (USA). She is a Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist with experience working with children, adolescents and adults specifically in the areas of Developmental Disabilities, Learning Disability, Emotional Problems, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorders amongst others. She has been a Psychological Counsellor at Family Court, Madras High Court. She has been practicing premarital counselling, couples therapy and family therapy for more than a decade. She also conducts specific group therapies for teens and young adults. Her research focuses on Integrated Psychotherapy approaches; Mindfulness based Interventions, Child and Adolescent Psychopathology & Interventions, Aging & Interventions, Family & Couples Therapy. She is the Honorary Director for Srishti Special School, Chennai. Dr.S.Thenmozhi is a Life Member for the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health, UK, Indian Association of Applied Psychologists, American Psychological Association (APA) and Asia Pacific School Association (APSA). Furthermore, she underwent a Supervision Training workshop conducted by the APA at Chicago, USA in August 2019. Also, she underwent an intensive Clinical Supervision training to become a Washington State Certified and Registered Clinical Supervisor in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Seattle, USA in the year 2019. She offers counselling and psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults and supervision for professionals and training workshops.

Shurthi is an aspiring professional in the field of counselling psychology. She has completed Masters in Counselling Psychology from University of Madras and is certified in working with children with Dyslexia. She has experience in working with a diverse population including special children, children in conflict with the law, people with mental health disorders etc. She worked as an intern at the Institute of Mental Health, Juvenile Home, Government Vigilance Home and Srishti special school. She possesses a genuine passion for working with children and young adults. She strives to provide a safe and empathetic space for individuals to explore their emotions and enhance their mental well-being.

SHARONE LEON - INTERN
Sharone is a budding psychologist who wants to work with adolescents and young adults. She has done her under-graduation at Stella Maris college and her post-graduation at University of Madras. Sharone also holds a diploma in Mental Health and Counselling from SCARF (Schizophrenia Research Foundation). She has experience in working with the LGBTQ+ community and Juvenile delinquents. She is passionate about working with minority communities. Sharone wants to help individuals become the best version of themselves.
